Platform modernisation
New mission capability and a longer service life for existing platforms.
Modernisation and life-extension programmes cover tanks, helicopters, armoured vehicles and other Eastern-origin platforms. For tanks, fire-control, armour, electro-optical, communications, powerpack and mission-system upgrades are integrated; for helicopters, avionics, communications, navigation, mission equipment and sensor integration are supported.
Upgrades can be configured to work with Western or NATO-aligned standards across communications, navigation, mission systems, weapons interfaces and command-control. Structural inspection, component renewal, testing, certification and sustainment processes extend service life, and interoperability solutions address secure communications, data exchange, mission planning and joint operational use.
